Wow, I just made it under the wire—May almost slipped past with no update. Hard to believe that there's been no layout progress since 16 February! With the holiday weekend at hand, I decided enough was enough; I simply had to make some headway on the James River Branch, lest anyone think the layout was dead. So, I picked a random project (not hard—there are dozens) and went to town. The lucky winner was the Naughtright Fire Company, which is now complete; the two-part construction article has been substantially revised and expanded. Enjoy!
